How does fair service charging work?

After the service sector has become more and more important in Germany in recent years, it is important to charge services so fairly that a win-win situation is ensured for both contracting parties. Because only if the work is carried out and invoiced according to performance, both sides profit from a lucrative business. Therefore, it is important that the logistic services in an outsourcing project are clearly defined and professionally measured and prepared. For this job, we are appreciated by our national and international customers for our neutrality and transparency. We are aware of the responsibility we have in this process, so it is even more of a reason for us to be proud of the fact that we are regularly allowed to accompany this process with well-known companies and are recognized as competent partners by both contracting parties.

We also identify productivity reserves that are included as annual target agreements in the contract agreements and help to implement them.

Our approach to these projects is as follows:

  • Coordination of standard processes and special services

  • Dimensioning of processes with time recordings

  • Determination of the target times per influencing variable (e. g. incoming goods: time per container bridge, time per pallet, time per carton, time per loose product, etc.). The target time per unit of output is needed so that structural fluctuations can be taken into account later in the actual billing model.

  • Determination of distribution time surcharges from the time studies carried out

  • Calculation of standard times per activity unit

  • Structure of the allocation model in a spreadsheet (e. g. MS Excel)

  • Preparation of the parameter sheet for the control of structural fluctuations

  • Plausibility check and comparison with the actual situation

  • Tuning the parameter sheets

  • Calculation of the target productivity

  • Execution of the process analysis and determination of possible savings potentials

  • Integration of fixed expenses such as buildings, energy, depreciation, etc.

  • Completion of service billing model, calculation of worst case, real case and best case.

  • Integration of the agreed productivity scales into the contract

  • Support during implementation
